Isaiah 43:16,18-19

This is what the Lord says, ... "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland."

John 16:33

[Jesus said,] "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.

John 14: 1-3

[Jesus said,] "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am."

Luke 2:28-32

Simeon took him [Jesus] in his arms and praised God, saying: "Sovereign Lord, as you have promised, you now dismiss your servant in peace. For my eyes have seen your salvation, which you have prepared in the sight of all people, a light for revelation to the Gentiles and for glory to your people Israel."

Luke 2:11-14

[An angel of the Lord said,] "Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger." Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests."

Luke 2:8-11

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord."

Luke 2:6-7

While [Joseph and Mary] were [in Bethlehem], the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.

Luke 2:1 and 4-5

In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. ... So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child.

Luke 1:68-70

[Zechariah said,] "Praise be to the Lord, God of Israel, because he has come and has redeemed his people. He has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David, as he said through his holy prophets long ago."

Matthew 1:20-21

*************************************************
If an angel appeared to you and told you that you were to be the father of a child that was conceived of the Lord what would you do? In today's day and age most men would have ran away. They feel that since the baby is not there's they have no reason to be around let alone care for that child. But in Joseph's time it was uncommon for the child to not be that father's and if an Angel of God appeared to tell you that you better believe that they obeyed. Things have changed over the centuries and people are less obident and ignore the signs that have been provided to us from the Lord. We refuse to listen to what the Lord has in store for us so we then are even more helpless when it comes to use really needing the Lord he is not there for us. As his word falls deaf on our ears our pleas fall upon his deaf ears when we are in need.

Luke 1:46-49

**************************************************

How many times have we praised and thanked our Lord for all that he has done for us? We seem to only call out to him when we need him then go about our daily duties until we find ourselves in turmoil again. We need to more praiseworthy and not just when something good happens but everyday. Not just when we feel like we need to drop to our knees but everyday. Our knees need to be sore just like our butts get when we are sitting around doing nothing. Come on followers put your feet forward and go and praise, worship, and teach about our good Lord and Jesus and all that has been done unto you and for you.

Luke 1: 30-31

*************************************************
Yet again a true blessing to be the one chosen to carry the Lord who would change the world. Mary left a great history behind and helped to touch many people. Who all have you touched in your lifetime? What teachings do you leave behind? There are a great deal of people that go through life not wanting to rise above and be noticed then there are those that go to far with wanting the attention and they don't even stick to their word. Life is full of opportunity and we need to take each chance and spread the word and understand that we may not make a change right away and then there are times that change happens right away. Life is what you make it and is about how you live and if you have fulfilled your need according to what the Lord has set forth for you.

Luke 1:26-28

*********************************************
If this is not a telling of what will come than I dont know what else it could be. Mary would be the mother of Jesus and she would be that of a virgin, untouched women, chosen by the Lord to carry and raise. This young women had no idea at what the Lord had laid out for her do. She just believed and follow his word and did as she was asked to do. She was blessed with the Savior due to being pure of heart. How many of you can say that you are pure of heart? I know that I cannot say that I am but I am trying to more devoted to his word and be a better follower. Yes there are times in which this is hard but it is a learning experience for me everyday that I walk with him.

Matthew 2:4-6

********************************************
There are several people who claim to be the leader and several that choose to follow. But the one true leader was that on Jesus and he died for our sins and rose again to prove that he was real. Even though that there are those who are lost once they find their Shepard they are found. Just like a herd of sheep they lost until they have a Shepard. We just stray sheep in life until we find our purpose. Our purpose to help teach the word and be a living testament to those around us and those that we encounter in our path. All that matters in the end is that Jesus and his people will be first.

Galatians 4:4-5

***********************************************
God sent his Son at the correct time. We needed someone who we could follow and that someone needed to be a person that could not only show us that we have the faith but be a testament. We were under roman rule and needed a savior that would stand for what he believed in. This caused everyone to believe again and preach the good word of our Lord. We became his real children not just pretend. So that way we could have rights and be individuals but still have a common belief.

Isaiah 7:14

The Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.

**************************************************

"Sign, Sign, everywhere's a sign". Life is full of all kinds of signs from not only the Lord but also just in general. If we ignore those signs then think about but we may be missing out on. There is a reason there are curveballs in life so that we are directed down the right path. The longer and closer that I get the Lord I have become more aware of the signs that he has provided for me. I have avoided so many signs in my life and have had to learn the hard way. Jesus was our sign from the Lord on how he wants us to live and is our example of what the Lord wants us to be like.

Deuteronomy 18:15

**************************************************

Jesus the son of Virgin Mary is the Prophet. The Lord brought forth Jesus so that he would be the prophet for those to believe in and for us to listen to. Jesus taught the people and had those that followed him. Jesus was our example of the type of person that the Lord wants us to be. There will come a time when we are face to face with the Lord and he will ask where you like Jesus? I want to be able to say yes, I want people to know that I am faithful and strong in my faith. In order for people to see this I have to present this to them.

John 15:5,8

**************************************************

Like any plant they need water, sun, soil to live and thrive. How is our lives any different from that of a plant. We all start out as seeds and that seed is accepted Jesus. Then we grow stronger as we learn His word which that is the stalk. Then as we obey and spread His word that then becomes our branches. Then as we touch more and more people they in return become our fruit. Our thirst is calmed by that of knowing the Lord and understanding what he wants us to know. By doing all this we become closer to the Lord and he is revealed to us in many ways. We have to preach His word in order for us to bear fruit, quench our thirst and receive or nutrients.

John 14:6

*************************************************

"It's my way or the highway" I hated this saying as I was growing up because it meant that I did not get what I wanted. The truth is that if we know Jesus we know God. Jesus was sent to earth as his only son. Jesus lived and died on the cross for us so that all of our sins will be forgiven because we know not what we do. I can say I am glad to be saved by Jesus and I am grateful to be getting to know him better. I have not been the greatest person on my faithfulness to the Lord but I am hoping to change all this. Last night at work I was asked if I had all my Christmas shopping done. I said that it wasn't about the gifts its about the season and that Jesus was born to guide and be an example for us. Everyone gets so wrapped up in the glittery, pretty items that they forget the biggest gift of all was that of Jesus. Do you thank God for what he has done in your life?

John 11:25

**************************************************

How important of a question is this to you? To mean it means a lot, it means that their is life after death. I know that there are several people that do not believe in an afterlife. When you accept Jesus as your savior and Lord of all you are forgiven of your sins and you are reborn pure and true. There are several people who feel this way and do so in the moment then live their following days as if nothing has changed. I have been guilty of this but I am now trying to change and get to know the Lord and his scripture. I believe in a heaven and a hell and I fear for my soul. A soul is the whole being of an individual and the body is just our temple. We have to be soul saved in order to live on with the Lord. If our souls are not saved then we are already dead and we linger on in the afterlife in a trapped world.

John 10:14-15

************************************************

As we walk with Jesus we learn not only of him but he has done for us all. He knows all about us because he only gives us what he thinks we can handle. There are some who have even harder times than us. We just need to remember that everyone is different. But knowing the Lord is the one that unites us all. Jesus laid down his own life for us so that we may be forgiven just like Moses dedicated every thing he had to making the Ark due to the floods even thou other doubted him. God already has a plan for our lives we just have to TRUST that he only has our best interest in sight. No one is perfect we all falter at some point of another. Walking with Jesus and getting to know about him and teaching others is our purpose.

John 10:7,9-10

Therefore Jesus said again, "I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep. ... whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it the full."

*************************************************

This verse reminds me of the thief being that of a wolf. Wolfs are always terrorizing the sheep and killing them. The sheep are us as disciples of the the Lord.  We go to him for protection and guidance in what we are doing as well as we trust that he will provide with us. The only way for us to have a full life as sheep is to be protected from the wolf (Evil) in a pasture. Which then brings me to another scripture Psalm 23 " The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want, He makes me lay down in green pastures, He leads me beside still waters...." These two verses go hand in hand when it comes to having eternal life with the Lord.

John 8:12

  **************************************************

When we give our hearts and spirits to God we become pure of heart. Those who are pure of heart light up the darkness. If there were more true believers than there would less darkness. We each have our weakness but we need to stand strong not only to resist but also strong in the Lord. Once you accept Him as your Savior he forgives you of all the your sins. There are individuals that claim that they know the Lord but do not act in a righteous way. I am guilty of this but I am hoping to improve my relationship and have a better knowledge of His word. There are so many things in this world that are dark and unfaithful. There are also several people that try to deter our relationships I have come to call these people mayhem's. There are often times that some mayhem's have silent actions. We are often unaware of their actions until they are revealed unto us.

John 6:35

*****************************************************

We as humans need food and water to survive. We eat when we are hungry, drink when we are thirsty. We treat Jesus the same way we only think of him when we need him. We need to think of him everyday not just during our low points but also during our high points. The only time that we really stress or celebrate God and Jesus is around Easter and at Christmas time. Just like with food Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas is the time that we focus more on what to make. We need to be as passionate about Jesus as we are about food.

Hebrews 1:1-2

*****************************************************
This verse is so true, God used Moses, John the Baptist and other prophets to get his message across but he saw that this was not as influencing as placing Jesus on earth via Virgin Mary. We as Christians can look at Jesus and his life and see how he lived everyday and see that this is how God wants us to live our lives. In today's world it is very hard to stay true to what one believes due to having a whole bunch of different distractions that can deter our faith. We need to be steadfast and teach others of God's righteous word. Often times you have to ask yourself What Would Jesus Do? I know this is a forever old saying but it is still true today. We need to think about what we are doing and learn to stay true to our beliefs.

John 1:1-2 and 14

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. ... The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
*******************************************************************************

Great Verse! I myself have not been a good example of God's word or work but I am trying to make that change. I need to be an example not only for my FRAN's (Friends, Relatives, Acquaintances and Neighbor's) but also unto myself. My spiritual walk has not been the strongest and to me some things in the bible are too confusing but I am trying to understand it a little better and be a testament to those around me. It is like this saying I saw on my friends church "To some people your life may be their only example of the bible." This is so true because there are those who speak God's word but do not abide by it. I am not saying that I am not guilty of this but some are worse than others. Most people do not realize that our actions often speak louder than our words. So we have to be aware of what we are doing and do unto others as we would want done unto us.
