1 Peter 5:7

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

James 1:17

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

2 Corinthians 12:9

*****************************************

There has been several times in which I have been weak and turned to the Lord for deliverance. I would try everything that I could to find a solution on my own but all I really needed was the Lord. Everyone becomes weak cracks in the concrete prove no matter how strong you are you have a breakdown. If we didn't have breakdowns we would not be healthy. We can only handle so much at once and our way of releasing our stress is to have a breakdown. If we leave to the Lord we will know his true power. He is the almighty and does wonderful things for us when we are not looking especially when we need it the most. My love for my husband is proof of his great power and how he will take care of you in your times of weakness.

1 Peter 2:19

**************************************************
Just like Jesus did when he was crucified he knew that God was there and with that he was able to bear the pain that was inflicted upon him. How many people can say that can bear the pain because they know that God is there? If I was asked this in the past I would not know what to say. I knew that there was a God but I never really believed that he was true. He has worked so many miracles within my life and also within me. I am so grateful that he has done all that he has for me not only in my hour of need but with every step that I take.

Psalm 2: 11-12

*************************************************

We as people need to be more fearful and passionate about his teachings. We need to able to face fear head on and praise his great name. I know that at times it can be hard but we need to be more fearful. We can send all the praise that we want up but we also need to teach. If we have a fear of losing someone close then so be it because they were never really there in the beginning for you. Each of us believes in different things but in the end we all have a belief in someone higher. If we do not preach then we are as hopeless as those who do not believe. Do not keep thy mouth shut in times were preaching is needed. You never know when someone around you may have needed to hear your words or see you as a testament. We also need to be humble in our studies and not be afraid to tremble and drop to our knees. We are in just the beginning of hard times and things will only get worse. Those who are left standing are the ones who serve in fear and tremble in praise.

Joshua 4: 24

The LORD your God did to the Jordan just what he had done to the Red Sea when he dried it up before us until we had crossed over. He did this so that all the peoples of the earth might know that the hand of the LORD is powerful and so that you might always fear the LORD your God.

************************************************

The LORD our Savior is there always showing us his great love and that he is there to protect to us. He protects us from evil and parts our path so that we may make way until we are safe. We are his children and he looks out for us just as we do with our children here on earth. God aides us in our hour of need and during the presence of evil. He even makes the evil become fearful of him when he shows his great power. There are even times when we are fearful of his power especially when we go down the wrong path. He rears his power to show us the correct way and we are given the decision to follow or disobey. I know that I have disobeyed one to many times. Staying on the correct path is hard but I can do all threw him who strengths me.

2 Corinthians 4:8

*************************************************

What would the world be like if we didn't believe that what we don't see exists. Gravity, the air we breathe and countless other elements and obstacles are unseen. We can't see the air but we know it is there and we know gravity exists so why is so hard for people to believe in a god that is unseen. He has done measurable amounts for us and yet we still bring him down. If you think about most of the stuff that we can see is only around for a little. House and other items can disappear, decompose, and even our bodies are temporary. Can you see a person's soul? No not physically anyways but we all know that we have one and even after our soul has left our bodies it continues on to another vessel or to the afterlife. Think about it the Lord has always been there and he even sent Jesus his only son to witness towards us in our time of need.  So if we can believe in a person's soul then how come we can't believe in the Lord.

Psalm 3:3

************************************************
We are only given what we can handle and even during these times we feel that it is to much for us. The Lord will always protect, comfort and support us even when it doesn't seem that he is there. I know that he has really protected me and my family especially on Christmas day. We came real close to having a house fire. One of our outlets caught on fire but it didn't go past the outlet which is pure grace. He has given me so much to be thankful for and I am blessed in every aspect of my life. Yes there are times in which we have needed more protecting than normal but he is always there to help us. When one looks down upon other it is in shame. So why look down we need to raise us those around us and tell them that they have a protector, a comforter, and a supporter no matter what stage of their walk they are in. Big, small, short or tall God loves us all.

Joshua 1:9

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.

***********************************************

The Lord your God will be with wherever you go! We are never alone and we are stonger when we walk the Lord. We are never sure of what is store for us and so by walking with the Lord we are assured that he will provided for us in our times of need. There were several times in which I tought I could not go any lower than what I was at that point. You just have to lay it at the Lord's feet and he will provide for you in your time of need. In this short time of doing my readings I have seen a great change in myself. I no longer worry about what may happen and just deal with the here and now. If I worry about what lies ahead it will only make things worse not only for me but for those around me as well.

2 Corinthians 5:17

****************************************************

The Old has gone, the NEW has come! This is so true and the perfect verse for being the beginning of a new year. A new year means new things and once we are living for Christ everything is new to us. God only provides with us with what we can handle and even though we may think we cant handle what he has given us we overcome. I plan to make this my overcoming year and hope that its the best year yet for me and my family. I know that I am going to give more unto him and be strong in him. For he alone has given me guidance and mercy. I lay it all down at his feet!
